The "Move Objects" tool is a option in the radial wheel when you click and hold down the right mouse button (default). Can also be switched to by use the "1" key (default). It is the first tool acquired, and is given to the player by default.
Tool Use[]
The main use of this tool is to pick up and move furniture or other objects such as light switches. It is used by clicking and holding the left mouse button (default) while the reticle is hovering over a piece of moveable furniture. If it is a piece of moveable furniture a tip will pop up a little lower than mid-top of your screen that says "move."
The secondary use of this tool is to dispose of garbage. When you hover the reticle over things such as old newspapers, empty cardboard boxes, in general trash. If it is trash you will see a tip pop up on your screen a little lower than mid-top screen that says "dispose".
A third use of this tool is to assemble or mount furniture, such as bathroom fixtures and radiators.
Additional Details[]
- While holding a piece of furniture, you can also use the scroll wheel on the mouse to rotate it. Holding the Shift key while using the scroll wheel will rotate the furniture by 90 degrees.
- One of the Clean Tool upgrades more specifically relates to this tool, as it allows for "Multiple Trash Disposal." This upgraded perk allows the player to dispose of a group of trash at once (such as the close clusters of empty cans or bottles) with one click.
