The "Shovel" tool is part of the Garden Flipper DLC and is not available in radial menu, it only shows up when you need to dig into the ground or to remove molehills. It is unlocked by completing the job "A bit of gravel and a couple of bushes".
Tool Use[]
The "Shovel" is used in the garden to remove molehills and dig into the ground to plant bushes and trees, install ponds and install pools. By hovering over the molehill or digging spot, a text on the screen will tell you to press "E" (default) in order to start digging. Then hold down right click (default) to start digging.
Additional Notes[]
- By letting go off the right click before the entire movement ends, you can dig slightly faster.
- If you have the Pets DLC, any animal with the Helper trait can dig the holes for you.
- In some of the jobs and on some properties, you need to clear out snowpiles or piles of junk/bricks/stone/rubble. This is done with the shovel, in the same way as you remove molehills.
