House Flipper Wiki

"A beautiful big house in the backcountry for sale. A lucky strike for people who value silence, peace and want to take a rest from the city noise and other people's company. Just think: only you, your house and the nature around you. The place was abandoned many years ago and it needs a complete overhaul, but in the right, caring hands it will become a true gem! We advise superstitious people not to buy it."

"This is absolutely crazy! This house must be haunted. I don't think anyone would buy it after the makeover. The one night I spend there nearly ended in death. Right after sunset, I began to literally feel someone breathing down my neck. I don't believe in ghosts or supernatural forces and I am an atheist, so I laughed at the warning that exorcism was once carried out in this house. But there really is something wrong with this place. The nail marks in the room upstairs give me the shivers..."

The Samarta Myers' House is one of the houses available for the player to purchase and renovate in House Flipper. It was added as part of the Apocalypse Flipper DLC (along with other Halloween items), and is the first house in game to feature a "curse" mechanic. It should be noted that, despite being marked as part of the Apocalypse Flipper DLC, it does not have a bunker and is treated as a regular house with a basement.

Floorplan[]

Blueprints[]

Room Types[]

This house has 3 Floors and 11 Rooms in the default layout. The default rooms have the following labels:

Basement

  • 3 Rooms

First Floor

Second Floor

Renovation Tasks[]

Note that while the curse is active, daylight cycle will be permanently set to night, so making use of your flashlight is advised.

  • Dispose of garbage
  • Mop/Sweep messes on floors and walls
  • Wash windows
  • Eliminate Pests (Glass if Katsaridaphobia Mode is enabled)
  • Plaster all walls
    • The wall paint in this house is in poor condition, and may also need a new coat of paint or other wall covering.
  • Replace fixtures (radiators, toilets, etc.)
  • Break the curse by burying the coffin found in the backyard (this will end the "spooky effects" such as the flickering lights and screen distortion occurring in the basement.)

Trivia[]

  • This house is a reference to the Halloween Movie Series. Samarta's last name, Myers, also refers to this franchise as a homage to its iconic slasher, Michael Myers.
  • Samarta's first name may also be a reference, as it's very close to Samara, the villain of another classic horror movie, The Ring

Easter Eggs[]

  • After spawning in to the map, look behind you and across the street to see Michael Myers.
  • The "Scream" mask above the fireplace changes expression whenever you look away from it.
  • A Jumpscare will appear in the second floor bedroom on the right of a woman ("Samarta Myers") crawling backwards.
  • If you look away from the stuffed rabbit hidden in the upstairs closet, you may find it now has a knife in its head. The chances of the knife disappearing and reappearing seem to be random.
